Stunning grounds, peaceful ambiance, attentive staff, delicious food, luxurious rooms, historic charm.
Can't think of anything.

Rather run down and in need of investment. Old fashioned can be good but just seemed stuck in the past. Very poor restaurant experience - poor range of choices on wine list (they could not supply a request for a dry white wine by the glass), range of breads and cheeses minimal and no mushrooms available at breakfast ..... in Italy in October!

I had an amazing stay in a historic hotel on a hill in Tuscany with impressive grounds. The staff was welcoming and attentive, and the hotel facilities were perfect. The cleanliness of the room and the breakfast were exceptional, and the location provided breathtaking views.
Can't fault anything about it.

Nestled in a historic castle in the Tuscan hills, the location of this hotel is truly enchanting. the well-maintained grounds and stunning pool make this the perfect place to relax. the welcoming staff provides top-notch service and the spacious rooms are comfortable and cozy. Breakfast is a treat, with delicious local dishes. the spa offers a nice touch of relaxation and tranquility.
Sadly, the main restaurant is not up to par, but there are other dining options available.

Beautiful hotel; first class accomodations, breakfast was incredible, hotel staff very helpful. Worth the extra expense.

This hotel is a luxurious Tuscan escape with exclusive amenities that made me feel pampered. the service was exceptional with prompt fulfillment of my every request. the swimming pool was a highlight with breathtaking views of the lush countryside. the room had exclusive advantages like elegant decor and private facilities that made it an indulgent retreat. the breakfast was delicious with a variety of high-quality options.
The restaurant had limited options and lacked variety.

The historical building and vast surrounding landscapes made for a beautiful setting and memorable stay. The staff were welcoming and provided excellent service, ensuring all our needs were met. the on-site restaurant offered a range of high-quality dishes that embodied local flavours and ingredients.
The facilities showed signs of wear and tear, and some aspects felt outdated. The inconsistencies in service from staff members were also a negative aspect of our stay.

The location of the hotel was really convenient. It was situated in close proximity to many tourist attractions which saved us a lot of travel time. The staff were attentive and friendly, making our stay comfortable. The view from the hotel was spectacular, we could see the entire city and it made for a mesmerizing experience.
The room we were given was a bit run down and in need of renovation. The breakfast was mediocre and lacked variety, considering the price of the stay. The noise from the street was noticeable throughout the night which made it difficult to get a good night's rest.
Tourists from United States of America often stay at these properties. Consider them for your next trip.
